The OSU Pauling Heritage Committee
The OSU Pauling Heritage Committee was formed by the University Development Council on September 29, 1997, and reports to Orcilia Zuniga Forbes, Vice President for University Advancement. The Committee is responsible for coordinating all events and activities associated with the Pauling Centenary Celebration held at Oregon State University.
Committee Charge: The Committee will coordinate the University's stewardship responsibilities for the Pauling name and heritage campus wide. Responsibilities include but are not limited to communication, coordination of activities, and promoting synergistic interactions among events and units. A specific charge is to coordinate events relative to Linus Pauling Day in Oregon which coincides with Linus Pauling's birthday, February 28.
